Mixed Seasons

I finally finished my Haunted Wedding Party.  It was my first experience with molding paste gel medium, and it was great.

These charming creatures were bargain plastic wedding figurines and Dollar Tree skeleton heads.  It would be best to get figuringes that have hair pulled up to make it easier to decapitate them and glue on the new heads.  I was experimenting with the paints.  The girl on the far left was done in lavender and black.  I think I like the green better.

Moving on to Easter, I made decorated some burlap bags with printed fabric and seam binding.  I think they turned out very pretty - understated, not gaudy.

I also tried my first Origami Egg, only I couldn't find the origami paper I had bought for tghe purpose (it's somewhere in my craft room) so I used a very Easter looking paper from Studio 112.  It's a bit too thick for the purpose, but it's still a pretty decoration.  I found some good directions on http://www.marthastewart.com/article/elegant-eggs

Well, it's back to my craft room to tidy up.

Early for Mother's Day

Is it ever too early or too late for Mother's Day?  I don't think so!!!

As I was sorting through my fabric stash I came across two pink T-shirts I had bought to make for my daughter and grandaughter.  I revised two graphics I had and came up with the follwing:

I think they'll make great T-shirt transfers.  They'd make cute cards as well.
